Preparations!

It's been a busy day today cleaning, washing, ironing and changing the beds before my mum comes to visit. The garden has been tidied up, borders trimmed and shrubs cut back, and the fruit is now soaking in Sherry for my Christmas cake which i plan to bake on Monday.
Time now to let my hair down tonight as i'm off to a barn dance. This is my 3rd one with Spice and it promises to be a good night. :-)
