Confined to barracks

The lack of voice has turned into a cough and a thick head so I have been sofa or bed bound today. I'm feeling worse than I've felt all week but I'm hoping the weekend will see it out. I couldn't face coughing through a fortieth birthday party tonight or the faff of getting dressed up for the eighties theme, so it's Strictly, a soak in the bath and another early night instead.
