Miniature

A colleague had this at work today and I was fascinated by it! I knew she made miniatures although I'd never seen one of her productions. This one is a bit different though - someone else made the house using a special laser cutting technique. J then 'furnished' it with miniature furniture. The amazing thing is that everything is to scale! J was telling me that even adding a layer of paint can change the 'size' of things so they're out of proportion!!

The thing I love about this house is that it reminds me so much of my own. I'm thinking about commissioning a scale production of my own cottage now.......!!!!
