Perfection

Another Sunday afternoon, another walk, this time above the stunning vista of the Firth of Clyde on the forest road above Strone Point. Having attended church an hour earlier than usual, to allow people to go to the official Act of Remembrance, we found ourselves able to get out early in the afternoon for a good, strenuous walk with friends and dogs - you can see one of them in the corner - and still come down in the last of the sun. In the distance you can make out the south of Bute, the Island of Cumbrae on the left, then the south end of Arran, and all the way down to Ailsa Craig.

A perfect, if chilly, day.
