night ride

my new favorite thing = twilight bike rides down to the Venice pier. might have to go back tomorrow, and the next day, and....

I forgot how frickin' beautiful the ocean is at night. it's cool and refreshing. people are out and about running, biking, fishing, or just enjoying the last few minutes of light. All the different colored lights of the city, reflecting of the ocean, off the sky - I had to stop so many times just to take it all in. got too dark for picture taking, but I was enjoying just the same. so simple, so peaceful. I remember why I chose to live here.
