Silver Texture

I was focusing on getting pictures of textures today for my fashion rotation work at college, and I quite liked the silver pattern in this photo.

Also I was wondering if some of you lovely people could give me some advice. The other night I (firework photo night) I looked a playing around with bulb settings and creating images with torch lights. Well a friend of mine really likes one and wanted one done on canvas, I was wondering would something like that print well? I have heard that black doesnt print well, so I though I would see if anyone on here has done so. Thanks! :)
