Remembrance Sunday

Three things to appreciate
1. Those who fought in the world wars
2. Those who continue to fight for the freedom of others
3. My freedom to choose, to believe, to do and to go

I visited the museum at Ypres last year, I got to see some of the horror of the First World War. I saw how many young lives were taken and replaced with white crosses at Tyne Cot and names listed at the Menes gate in Ypres. I was shocked by the number of banners that hung in the museum in memory to wars that had taken place since that first world .....still we haven't learnt.
