Lochan na h-Earba

Lucy is inclined to run herself in to exhaustion on a long walk with Caley so she got a quick run around in the field first thing. It was more than sufficient for her.
Caley is still looking for his walk proper after that. Mrs Cakes and I had a quick walk up to Lochan na h- Earba. It was a beautiful outing and one that screamed out for dozens of carefully framed tripod mounted shots. I took a few but the trip had to be a quick one as there were other things to do.
Our dinner needed a long cook time for one. I cleaned out a couple of gutters and fixed a rain water down pipe. I have been thinking about doing these jobs for weeks and after getting the ladder set up the whole exercise probably only took twenty minutes.
The loch is considerably higher than it was on our last visit. The trade mark 100 yard wide sandy beach is gone and big areas of grassy moorland have become inundated. The thing is, it doesn’t matter as it always looks amazing here.
