Peacemakers

Had a Rwandan speak this morning in church about working for reconciliation in his country - very moving - and fitted with the two minute silence, when we remembered those who have sacrificed so that we can have peace.

BUT can war ever really bring peace? Can violence solve anything?

He said that Jesus calls us to be peacemakers - we need to be building bridges and knocking down walls. Hoping I can do that in some way this week.

This is our parish church in the sunshine - we walk past it to get to our church - saw the curate today - we do Sutton Pastors together.
