Bannock burn

Thank you all for your lovely comments on Sam I'll catch up in a couple of days.

So today's blip the walking group went to bannock burn and walked through the old gold workings this image is the remains of an old building remember that we are a young country behind the stone wall is a cave dug out but the miners for shelter, now I'm 5ft and a tiny bit more if I was to go inside I wouldn't be able to stand very upright thy slept in these and cooked their meals it's a very harsh country with very hot summers and quite chilly winters, so these miners had a very hard time of it as did most other miners around the world, this area is know for the Poppies and thyme which both are in full flower at the moment
