Instruments of Torture

Just bought these, as our compound gym doesn't have them. What do you know, it is now called jumping rope rather than skipping.

Worked from home as Calum was off ill. He has a sore throat, and the school nurse didn't let him home yesterday. We also picked up Karen's car from the garage, newly serviced and a new throttle body which is the bit that mixes the fuel. I always thought that this was called a carburetor.

What I have found out from the wonder web is "The primary difference between carburetors and fuel injection is that fuel injection atomizes the fuel by forcibly pumping it through a small nozzle under high pressure, while a carburetor relies on suction created by intake air accelerated through a Venturi tube to draw the fuel into the airstream."
