Christmas cake.

I've had a lovely relaxing day today. My mum left after a leisurely breakfast and then i spent the afternoon mixing my Christmas cake. It's a tried and tested Mary Berry recipe which has always worked well before, but there's always some trepidation especially as i'm using a different cooker this year. The kitchen smells gorgeous though and peeking through the oven door it looks pretty good so far.
I've just ordered a takeaway curry, my first since i've moved, as i'm getting withdrawal symptoms and a night in front of the tv is in order. :-))
