Second Drove

This is one of those forlorn roads that goes on a very long way before it peters out, usually at a farm. Drive down a road like this and you will be noticed and be the subject of speculation for weeks! There is one road called the Seven Mile Straight which is just that, seven miles without a kink or a bump. Don't be fooled that these roads are good for cycling. They may be one way but the lack of windbreaks may pedalling into the wind on the return a pain. The scenery doesn't change much either! However, you do get a great sense of space and the big skies can be impressive.
