In Control ...

This is a photo of the last part of the book of the Prophet Haggai in the Bible. At Church over the last five weeks we have been working our way through this book and applying the truths contained in it to church life today. So why have I photographed it for today? Quite simple really - we were away this weekend, so I was listening to the recording of it today.

In this section God shows through Haggai to His people that He is in ultimate control, despite what they might be experiencing and how they might be feeling. All they need to do is to decide to believe and align their thinking and actions with Him.

Easy to say, but less easy to put into practice. However the promise is also there throughout the book as God repeatedly says "I am with you!
