pheasants

no time to take a picture today so have mucked about with this mega-boring shot of some of the little blighters in a field next door. we're over-run with pheasants and partridges at the moment. they have shoots around here. i don't really get it at all, not with these birds anyway. as far as i can see, you could simply drive up to them in a honda civic, get out of the car and bonk them over the head with the pot you intend to cook them in.

very busy day today. hauled some children around edinburgh, poor sam got fed as i was marching down princes street. then back to the usual ballet-dash then had an extra wee one for tea/bath time. i love it all though. G says i seem horizontally laid back since sam's arrival. he thinks it's all the happy hormones from breastfeeding. but i think it's cos i know the difference between 'busy' and 'stressful'. they are not the same thing, at least they don't have to be. as long as you don't beat yourself up for what you don't manage to get done. i like to be busy.
