Sweeeeeet!

Most of the agriculture round here is sugar cane. Now it is mostly grown for biofuel. It is processed on a bigger scale than the older processing for refined sugar. The brick chimneys in the mid-ground are a relic of the older, local refining factories. This is the view I have from my hotel room window on the outskirts of Campinas.

The hotel is on a condo. A totally self contained village with shops, bars, houses and hotels etc all within a secure compound.
