it all takes time

Health & Safety

Today we brought to a close our cycling section of the holiday with another fairly tuff cycle from our accommodation to our coach.

As you can see it started with a river crossing, I was on the next load of passengers :-)

I'm not sure how to sum up Cambodia and it's probably good that I have another couple of days to gather my thoughts. It's a country that's not really ready for mainstream Europeans but it is well worth visiting. More before I go.

Today was another mix of cycling and coach travel (too much coach travel) and unexpected quality came from squaller when we stopped ad hoc at a restaurant and the family run business set about preparing a fab meal in a less than ideal environment .

Although the evening ended well, with plenty of beer, it could have been different, again! when we went on a boat trip in a very unstable craft without sufficient life belts (now I think of it we had none this morning) and finished our journey by disembarking over the side of the boat and into the water in the dark (we could of stepped onto a plastic chair then onto a log if we wished of course).

Even after such a short time it's all a bit of a haze and back blips should help to fill in some of the gaps (very tired).

For now it's nearly over. A couple of days here and a day at the beach tomorrow. We deserve it!

Look forward to catching up with your blips :-)
