Final evening

This picture is in the oratory of the St John of God complex where we live on our past 28 visits to Malawi. It shows Br Donatus with Mary and Denise. This is where we say our evening prayers, before eating. It is a most restful place after the many long, hot and hard days, a wonderful refuge.
For the past eight years we have been welcomed to make our home here, having our own room and leaving our set of clothes here as well.
For those of you who do not know the St John of God order of brothers, I suggest that you look up their philosophy and their work with the mentally challenged all around the World.
We have been priviliged to have been taken under their wing and spoiled.
They are the hospitality order the Order of Hospitallers, and they certainly live up to it
