View from a Room

A view from a room you could take from a lot of windows in this historic city, but this one has an extra story to it.

Its called 'the gedempte oude gracht' which translates into the filled up old canal, and thats exactly what the view used to be… water instead of a road. What a pity.

It was also the city limit in the 15th century.
