Dutch Windows

Many of the Dutch like to keep their window's view open to the outer world at all times; whether it's to show off at others on what they have and do, or it's to keep in touch with the outdoor's world by all means, I don't know. However all who are out on the streets can look into their small worlds and it's relatives & friends from abroad who always pointed me at this most peculiar dutch habit.
