Gerard Oltmans is one of the organizers of Help Portrait in Apeldoorn.

Help Portrait was started a couple of years ago by American photographer Jeremy Cowart and has grown into a world wide event about photographers giving back to their local community. On December 7th, photographers, makeup artists and volunteers around the world will be getting together to shoot portraits of people in need and deliver a print to them right away. An event about giving pictures, not taking them.
Just like last year Help Portrait will be held in Apeldoorn as well. Tonight the organizers, photographers and makeup artists got together to discuss the event and to do a short portrait photography workshop by photography teacher Mich Buschman.
