family dinner

Cooked dinner for Taylor Jr & me tonight. A routine event for years, but broken in August 12 when he went to live with his mum.

He's back living with me now - mostly, and temporarily - as a result of his new job.

Quick & easy (oh, and a bit smelly). Spaghetti with a sauce of olive oil, and garlic & chilli flash fried in it. Generous clumps of fresh basil & fresh grated parmesan on top when serving.

He has ice hockey training at Murrayfield (35 minutes drivefrom here) tonight at 11. On Sunday his team is playing at Sheffield - 8:15 pm start. My iPhone reckons Sheffield is just over 5 hours away by road. So, with no toilet or food stops, he would be home afterwards about 4am.
