Flow gently sweet Ythan

Out walking this morning with my walking group around Ellon, we followed the river Ythan for a mile or so as it meandered through the town. It was a pretty gray day so I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of colour in this shot. Our leader had devised a pleasant walk which eventually took us out into the countryside where we had cracking views over to Bennachie, the Ythan estuary and of the town itself. A grand way to spend a morning!
