Monopole

This cellular antenna is located just a few houses away from my house. These days, the cellular companies are installing "monopoles" to make the cell towers less offensive looking.

This pole was receiving some sort of maintenance work. Normally the top part of the pole is covered by a painted shroud, and the whole thing just looks like another utility pole. This particular pole even has a street light mounted about half way up the length of the pole.
