Horses Head

Hidden behind St Giles in Edinburgh is Parliament Square. In the middle of the square is a large statue of King Charles II of Scotland on horseback. Charles II is depicted as a Roman Caesar in the statue but I liked the detail in the horses head.

This was taken at 9.15pm so the only light available was the lamps in the Square but I think it gives the horse some great shadows.
