Time to get me boots on and go have an explore. Heard of this place,the Moot at Downton. Between Salisbury and Fordingbridge. Very pleasant strolling around and its free. The statue of Mercury has gone but the 18th century Amphitheatre remains. Run and cared for by volunteers under a charitable trust. Great views towards Cranborne Chase and the art deco former tanning factory(now apartments). Much enjoyed.
