A Sleepy Wasp

I was surprised to see a bumblebee fly past the kitchen window and head for the new flowers on the mahonia, so I grabbed the camera and headed out into the garden, I couldn't get a photo of the bee as he went under some leaves but then I spotted this wasp getting some late nectar. I wouldn't normally blip a wasp because they are not my favourite insects but as there wasn't much else presenting itself on the photo front I decided to go with it. We have had a lovely sunny day again so I suppose the wasps and bees have decided to get a bit more to eat before shutting down for the winter, whatever the reason I certainly didn't expect to be blipping an insect in mid November :-)
