Winter Thrush - Summer's Day?

Our final day here in Norfolk - again, glorious sunshine and big blue skies. We had a great walk around Holkham Park - deer, buzzards, and a small flock of fieldfare were the highlights, followed by a pleasant lunch in Holkham, then a second walk through the nature reserve from Holkham Gap where we saw a comma - yes, a BUTTERFLY in mid-November, goldcrest, jays, a kestrel, as always, lots of geese, and an amazing roost of about 100 cormorants. Home tomorrow. It would be nice to have some continuing fine weather to ease the pain of leaving.
One thing I won't miss is the lack of reliable internet. Hoping to catch up over the weekend!
