Meet Fred

The red squirrel that uses my deck railing as a highway. Today's traffic came to a screeching halt when Fred found the seeds and nuts I placed in his path. He stuck around to shell and eat the sunflower seeds but took each peanut away one at a time. It took him less than 10 minutes to clear the way (including all of his peanut trips to who-knows-where). I had originally set the seeds out to attract a bird or two but they didn't last long enough for the birds to even know that they were there. Cuter in large.

Thanks for all of the kind comments yesterday. My meds finally worked to give me a few somewhat normal hours this afternoon. Gotta love the meds... Though I do wish they'd last longer...
