Another dog, another kitchen - though this one's dad is actually in the kitchen and being intently gazed at whilst hoping that some titbit will shortly fall to the floor.

However whilst you might well think it's all about Bill it's not!

Please admire our shiny new cooker!

After many years loyal service from the old one (it was the original one installed when the house was built over 18 years ago!) the last 18 months of of it taking circa 45 mins to get to any sort of temperature - and then definitely being way short of where you want it to be - we decided it was time to get a new one given we've a full house over Christmas.

Just admire that wonderful light so you can see what's going on.
And oh look it gets to temperature within 5 minutes.
Plus you don't need a degree in engineering to change the time.
Things also cook in the time that the recipe says.
And best of all we're now able to bake - hence all the recent yummy treats :D

Tonight we're going to test setting the timer to cook the fish pie whilst we're out so we when we get home it'll hopefully be ready to fill our tummies!

We're definitely showing our age getting quite so excited about a new kitchen appliance.
