5.46%

A wee potter along to Kirkcaldy for an appointment at the hospital and then to the shops to buy books for the weans, boots for Mandy and, err, beer for me. Still in the buying phase but those days will soon be over. This fine looking Caledonian 80/- has done its fermenting and is now ready for racking off and its two weeks of rest before bottling. By my calculation it's 5.46% which is a wee bit higher than it should be.

Looking forward to trying the 2.7% beer from Adnams that I picked up in M&S. It would be good to make a nice weak beer. But for now, the plan is to make a clone of Bitter and Twisted tomorrow.
