Up close with the pelicans

While walking the beach this morning we came upon quite a flock of these fellows and as we approached, they decided they didn't really like our company so one by one then in larger groups they left in our direction upwind providing a nice close up shot.

Edit: After some digging searching the net I find a flight of Pelicans is referred to as a squadron and a "grouping" as a pod, I guess this is a blend of the two certainly not a flock. :/
