Where there's muck, there's brass.

And lots of it too.

We are continuing the process of clearing out the father-in-law's flat. He was an inveterate hoarder and latterly, for some reason, he started collecting brass ornaments from charity shops. I don't know if he thought they would be worth something for the metal alone, certainly they aren't worth anything for the artistic value. This is a fraction of his eclectic collection.
