Sketchy

Had a lovely weekend with The Carmenator and really felt like I'd made the most of the small amount of precious time we have together.

One of her favourite past times is to draw. She's been doodling and sketching away as far back as I can remember, which admittedly isn't that far.

This is her latest work, which is a drawing of our garden as seen from her bedroom window. I love the details that she's tried to pick out such as the shaping of the gate and the curvature of the steps leading up to the shed.

It will be interesting to see how her abilities manifest and if her skill level grows with her.

Failing that, the most important thing is that she seems to enjoy it no matter what the subject matter!
