Fallen Angel

I did a home visit to a woman today who has trouble leaving her house. Her eyesight is failing and there are no longer any landmarks in town to help her find her way.

I took the opportunity to have lunch in the graveyard in Addington on the way back to work. This grave yard is very old by our standards and reminds me of one I saw in Bristol a few years ago where so many of the graves were for sailors lost at sea. Some of the people buried in Addington were old hands from Bristol and Southampton who came here for a new life...
