Christmas come early

My Christmas cactus has flowered so that means it must be getting on for that time of year again. Curiously it also flowers at Easter, usually.

Spent a good chunk of today cleaning and hoovering as the flat was looking a little bit neglected.

But the evening was dinner and a movie with Suze981 - we went to see Gravity, which was pretty amazing. It would probably take me a month to understand how they created the effects of weightlessness and the cinematography was superb. I'm still not convinced by 3D movies, though. I prefer the higher resolution images of 2D films. But it did look extraordinary. And for a movie with only two visible characters it held the attention amazingly well for 90 minutes.
