Early Evening Sunlight - Arthur's Pass

On the way back to Christchurch for our journey home so we decided to stop in one of the smaller DOC camp sites. This one is next to Arthur's Pass Railway Station which one might expect to be quiet .... until the first cargo train exits the Otira tunnel with 5 (Yes Five) traction units. Fortunately, they take a break from late evening.

Difficult to get a shot without some of the trackside furniture, but still a great place for a visit, in the UK this place would be swarming with rail 'enthusiasts'.
