Ripples in the Sunset

In North East Victoria, the Ovens River rises in the Australian Alps near Mt Hotham and meanders through the beautiful countryside for some 150 kilometres before joining up with the Mighty Murray River not far from the township of Corowa.

One of its myriad of tributaries is quite a small stream called The One Mile Creek which wanders right through the centre of our town. On its journey it travels through parkland at the rear of our home. This tranquil setting provides idyllic conditions for almost daily evening walks with the infinite variety that each season brings.

My blip today is one of a beautiful reflection in these waters as I enjoyed the closing of yet another lovely spring day.
