An Almost Timeless scene.

In the fading light, the view through the arch to the stables at Cheltenham Racecourse shows a scene that has not changed over the past hundred years or so.

Not the best image but I love the story it portrays.

Steam rising from horses being washed down after racing, a group of grooms chatting.

The only give away that is is a modern scene is the guy leaning against the wall with a mobile phone in his hands.

Out at a presentation dinner last night - home at 3.30 a.m. hence the back blip for yesterday.

A gentle day today me thinks.
