Turussa

Spent the day in Turku today. The problem with traveling in Finland on a Sunday is that everything is closed! However the things I did manage to see where lovely. The Castle of Turku was wonderful although a little spooky as I was the only person there! The town is also very beautiful; this picture is of the cathedral.

I also found a great shop called Little Britannia; the only place in Finland where you can buy custard cream biscuits, marmite, PG tips and Doctor Who paraphernalia! Lovely little shop, the owner and I had a half hour discussion about Doctor Who and the wonderful choice of Perter Capaldi as the next Doctor!
