Brightening the gloom!

Gloomy all day!

These leaves on the cherry tree outside our bedroom window did cheer things up a bit.
Also the lovely wood burner!

MrC managed to give the car a good clean, inside and out. ( took over an hour!)
I got all the washing and ironing done, and baked some gingerbread.
Apart from that we have had a lazy day!

( Have booked a return visit to the cottage in Norfolk for two weeks next November. Would have liked a week in May, but they are already fully booked!)
