A82 Etvie Bridge

This bridge is a 1931 concrete beauty designed by the legendary concrete engineer Sir Owen Williams. It is one of two similar structures that still carry the main A82 trunk road, connecting Fort William and The Highlands with Glasgow and the Central Belt.

Its setting is amazing with the Glen of Etvie in the distance flanked by greying peaks loosing their definition in the late afternoon mist.
