Great Harwood railway Cutting

I had the pleasant task of opening a funded project today. An 8 mile circular walk called the lady bird trail which uses footpaths, the canal and disused railway line around the district of Hyndburn. It was lovely day and about 40 people turned out. lunch was provided at a Methodist chapel enroute with health veg soup made by the local NHS trust as part of a healthly eating campaign. The mural along the old railway line was done by local kids.
