Crockenwell

On a 13 mile walk today from Castle Drogo we came across these signs in Crockenwell. Shortly afterwards a little dog called Euston joined us and stuck with us for another 6 miles. Had to phone the number on his collar eventually to reunite him with his owners.

By the way there are 40 poles to a furlong, and 8 furlongs to a mile.
