Out myBack Door

The ever changing water patterns, the winter wind, the weeds, and old docks. Today we worked on the land trimming our humongous lovely messy willow, it's trunk is an easy 8 foot diameter, and cutting out the ravenous for space bamboo, both crowding the electric overhead wires.

And along came a covey of photographers in a Flicker meet-up - seriously - about 25 came out of nowhere, swarmed around us as we were working to shoot the channel and who knows what, all kinds of cameras, human sizes, kit sizes - and then off they scampered like so many birds on the wing. And I of course had nothing of my own to record this moment for you and blip.

(I think the spots are the rain.)
