Camelon Juniors FC

Here's Gerry and his friend Eddie.
Over the last couple of years they've been visiting all of the professional football league grounds in Scotland.
Now they're onto the lower leagues or as they're called in Scotland the Junior leagues.
Today I had a great time with them visiting Camelon Juniors FC in a full blooded cup tie which Camelon won 4-2 and included 2 sending offs, one for foul play and the other for the oppositions manager when he threw the ball back a bit aggressively to a Camelon player in the dying minutes.
We all thought it a bit unjust.
He was sent to the stands which involved stepping back 2 paces.
It was one of the most enjoyable games of football i've ever been to and to be able to wander round pitchside, chat to supporters from both sides, have a well priced meat pie, visit the local pub and see great skill levels, along with a cracking atmosphere was just great and brought back why I love football so much.
With the junior legues some teams supply VIP packages where you can have breakfast with the team and travel to the game on the same coach as the players, this sounds fabulous.
We also worked out that a season ticket costs approx the same as seeing one English premier league game.
It's a no brainer...
