Mr Thomas’s Chop House...

Standing on Cross Street, Manchester since 1867, Mr Thomas’s Chop House is a fine example of a Victorian public house and restaurant. Chophouses are somewhat of a British institution, where businessmen dined and conducted their dealings over hearty cooked meals washed down with fine wines and local beers. The building is Grade II listed by English Heritage for its architectural and historical importance in the city.
