Leaving for home

The ferry from Arran back to the mainland set off in what seemed to be blue skies and dry weather. But the weather blew in from the west bringing heavy rain and beautiful rainbows. When this picture was taken the rain was still about 5 minutes from the boat and the sun was still shining on us. 10 minutes later the sky was totally overcast - just as it had been for the three previous days.
