Deserves a quiet night

Birthday's eve.

Beautiful evening just enjoying the warmth of the pool against the cool of the night air.

We escaped the daily grind for a mini retreat on Coronado Island. I didn't actually get to bed properly the night before on account of trying to finish work, and I think I was already in a dream state before the night swim.

Update: Just got an email from the publishing editor at the LA Times asking to feature this image as their reader's image of the day. Exciting.
