Searching for pine cones!

Woke up surprisingly chipper followings birthday! More chipper than I did yesterday!

A lovely morning and after shopping and visit to the cemetery, I set my brisket of beef to cook on slow, and me and Pete went off on a long 3 hour walk!

Via colliers wood, through to Moorgreen and the woods, on a search for pinecones. Eventually found some and pete waited patiently whilst I picked them.

Home, the aroma of the beef cooking slowly was divine! Dinner done, pine cones washed, and then made some chicken stock from left over bones! Soup making tomorrow!
